It’s been so long!

Hello world!

Just wanted to make sure you all knew I was still alive and kickin'!

Things have been crazy - since I last posted, I've gone on a cruise (it was great and hopefully soon there will be pictures in the gallery to show it), I've changed jobs (Thompson and Knight ended in Oct and I started planning a fundraiser for Rep. Taylor in Oct), I coordinated my 5th (or 6th I'm starting to loose count) wedding and it was a ton of fun, I've become officially unemployed (fundraiser was a major success but was over Nov. 15th), and I'm currently living the life of the unemployed - the lap of luxury, let me tell you! :)

Seriously though, this has been a good time in my life to build my relationships, both with people and with my God, and to take a step back and figure out what's really important. Especially with Christmas around the corner (and EVERYONE knows I like Christmas), I am remembering that it's the thought that counts, not the amount spent. I'm working on doing little things with lots of thought, vs. big things with lots of money. It's kinda fun, you should try it sometime!

I had an job interview today - the first in a while - and it was interesting. I don't know if I'm interested in the position or not, but it was good to keep brushed up and not get lax in my looking. There have been several positions with possibility, but the timing is off with them right now, so I'm learning patience. Plus, I'm looking at options that I would normally not consider (starting my own business…scary!!!) and that's a good thing to do as well.

Let's see what else…I may have to move by the end of the year…ugh. Yet again during the holiday season. Where to? I'll keep you updated as that information comes in. :)
Have a GREAT Thanksgiving holiday - remember that it's more than just turkey and football - so give thanks for what you're blessed with!
